Sept 11 Kwame Appiah will lecture at 7:30 p.m. in Fox Hall on themes from his book Cosmopolitanism: Ethics in a World of Strangers. Kwame Appiah is the Laurence S. Rockefeller University Professor of Philosophy and the Center for Human Values at Princeton University. Prof. Appiah was raised in Ghana and educated at Cambridge University. Required. (CPS event.)

Oct 22 Eckerd College Diplomat in Residence Jamsheed Marker will lecture at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Auditorium on “U.S. Foreign Policy and al-Qaeda.” As Ambassador, Marker represented Pakistan, at the United Nations and to ten different countries, including the United States. Required. (CPS event.)
