Project 1: (pen and ink drawing) - (due Friday, August 18)

Create at least three sketches of the still life. One of your sketches should use construction lines, one should use gestural lines, and one should use contour lines. The sketches may each be from the same viewpoint or may each be from a different viewpoint. You may use either pencil or charcoal for each sketch.

Choose the best sketch and create a B&W ink drawing of the still life. You should employ either hatching, cross hatching or stippling to create areas of differing value within your drawing.
