Can I save time and organize posted files with folders?
Turn editing on and then go to the location in the course where you want the folder to be located and select "Add resource" -- > folder.
You need to give the folder the name that will be seen on the page and write s description (which can be very brief). At the same time you have the option of adding files to the folder from "Recent files" and/or by uploading them from your computer. You can also add files after the folder has been created by clicking into the folder can clicking on the "Edit" button. With folders it does seem to work if you want to post/add several files all at the same time.
Be sure and click on the "Save and return to course" button.
This can save you a lot of time if you are not using the "Easy Posting" program and can also help you organize the files that you post so that it is easier for you and your students to find the posted materials.
The folder can be hidden from student view if you wish.
